Jesus impress the pharisees

Jesus, from a very young age was impressing the Pharisees, read Luke 2:41-52 Now his parents went to Jerusalem every year at the Feast of the Passover. And when he was twelve years old, they went up according to custom. And when the feast was ended, as they were returning, the boy Jesus stayed behind in Jerusalem. His parents did not know it, but supposing him to be in the group they went a day’s journey, but then they began to search for him among their relatives and acquaintances, and when they did not find him, they returned to Jerusalem, searching for him. After three days they found him in the temple, sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions. And all who heard him were amazed at As some of you know this week the New Lion King came out in America. But I am not going to spoil it for you I am going to talk about a scene from the old one the first Lion King and if you have not seen it you’ve had 25 yr So the scene I want to talk about is the scene where Simba is standing by the water with Rafik. Then Rafik says remember who you are you are a son of the king. Right before this scene he’s living in the mountain with a group of outcasts who had their philosophy all mess up they believed that what you did not affect anyone else no matter what you did. It did not affect anyone else. But that almost everything you do affects someone from a facebook post to missing a day at work will affect someone else. But back to the water scene with Simba, Rafik say remember who you are. The point I want to make is that you are the son of the most high King you should not be frolikeing with the world for you are the son of the most high King. Be careful who you hang out with. Don’t get your testimony drug through with what people think of the people you hang out with. And when you do you are also dragging your father through it too and people say those christians are all just hypocrites. To quote Rafik one last time “He lives in you” so be careful what you drag your father through. But also be a light onto those people, but don’t fall into temptation. And don’t make the other ones sin understanding and his answers. And when his parents saw him, they were astonished. And his mother said to him, “Son, why have you treated us so? Behold, your father and I have been searching for you in great distress.” And he said to them, “Why were you looking for me? Did you not know that I must be in my Father’s house?” And they did not understand the saying that he spoke to them. And he went down with them and came to Nazareth and was submissive to them. And his mother treasured up all these things in her heart. And Jesus increased in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and man.
Luke 2:41‭-‬52 When Jesus was 30 y/o the Bible says he had grown in stature with God and man. He liked to put the Pharisees in their place not because he did not like them but because they were stuck in a religious cycle. When they prayed, they would shame people and they pray out loud so man could hear their prayers. They would not try to actually pray to God or read the Bible to honor God, but to impress others. Don’t just pray to pray or read to read the Bible out of duty or for show. Truly pray to God to develop a relationship with your maker and read the Bible to hear from God. I started this website to encourage Christians and help them to draw closer to God in a real way. Encouraging pray and reading the word daily is the best way to improve our relationship with God. Click the “dive deeper” If you want to start reading the Bible, I have provided some verses that may encourage you. But don’t get stuck in a religious cycle and doing it out of obligation but do your prayer and reading to build your relationship with Him.
